Casa Grande area residents don't always have to make the trek to Florence, the County seat, to conduct business with Pinal County.
In the past 10 years, the County has worked hard to make services much easier to reach for those who live outside of the Florence area. Pinal County offers services from sheriff substations to public health clinics in 16 different areas of the County. Not bad, considering that PinalCounty has more square miles than Connecticut, Rhode Island and Delaware.
Because Pinal County is located between Arizona's two largest metropolitan regions, Phoenix and Tucson, suburban growth southward from greater Phoenix has begun to spread into the northern parts of the county; similarly, growth northward from Tucson is spreading into the southern portions of the county. The Pinal County cities of Maricopa and Casa Grande, as well as many unincorporated areas, have shown accelerated growth patterns in recent years. With this much growth, such suburban development is likely to continue for the foreseeable future.
